Japanese man, Pinay girlfriend missing
MANILA, Philippines - A Japanese man and his Filipina girlfriend have been missing for almost a month, Mandaluyong City police said on Friday.
Yuki Okada, 54, an executive of Avant Philippines Inc., and Honeylyn Cirunay, 42, were last seen alive on June 27 when Okada reported for work.
They occupy a unit at the Irish Building of the Tivoli Garden Residences in Barangay Hulo, police said.
Last July 12, Cirunay’s brother, Alberto Jr., went to the Mandaluyong police to report his sister and Okada as missing.
Alberto claimed they exhausted all means to locate Okada and Cirunay but failed, prompting them to report the matter to the police.
