MANILA, Philippines - Police arrested two suspects in the killing of a man in Valenzuela City Tuesday night.
Cedric de Guia, 20, and Daniel Aquino were accused of killing Reginald Santiano.
Investigators said the victim went to a drinking session before he was found dead in his apartment on Buenavista street, Malinta at around 10 p.m.
Aquino and De Guia were nabbed in a follow-up operation after a pedicab driver identified them as the men who came out of the house of Santiano before he was found dead.
Senior Superintendent Rhoderick Armamento, Valenzuela police chief, said the victim was discovered naked and lifeless with seven stab wounds in different parts of his body.
Police recovered from the suspects Santiano’s cell phone, laptop and bag.
Armamento said Aquino admitted during questioning that he and Jed Sarabia were responsible for the death of Ronaldo Calaraza in Barangay Marulas on July 10.
