Man jumps to death from Las Piñas mall

MANILA, Philippines - A 35-year-old man jumped to his death from the third floor of a mall in Barangay Almanza Uno, Las Piñas City Thursday night.

Charlie Sacula Comingues was rushed by the mall security guards to the Las Piñas Medical Center where he was declared dead on arrival, said city police chief Senior Superintendent Adolfo Samala.

Samala said Comingues was seen restless as he walked back and forth in front of a computer store inside the mall prior to the suicide.

Witness Hazzel Cabuyao told police she saw the victim climb over the building’s railing and jump.

The victim fell down to the basement level, police said.
