DPWH to repair QC roads

MANILA, Philippines - Motorists should expect traffic gridlocks in some portions of Quezon City this weekend as the Department of Public Works and Highways will repair some roads, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said yesterday.

In an advisory, the MMDA said the road reblocking of parts of Visayas Avenue, from Road 1 to Central Avenue, will start at 10 p.m. tonight and will finish at 5 a.m. on Monday.

The MMDA advised motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes instead.
