Teen found dead in front of ex-girlfriend’s house

MANILA, Philippines - A teenager, who had just broken up with his girlfriend, allegedly killed himself in front of his former girlfriend’s house in Quezon City before dawn yesterday.

Jeus Angelo Palad, 19, was found dead in front of Alexandria Bumagat’s house on Selecta Drive in Barangay Pag-Ibig Sa Nayon by residents at around 5 a.m.

An empty bottle of what investigators suspect to be silver cleaner was found near the teenager’s body, Police Officer 3 Marlon dela Vega said.

Dela Vega said he found out that two weeks ago, Bumagat broke up with Palad – whose family resides in the same neighborhood – allegedly because of her parents’ opposition to the relationship.
