MANILA, Philippines - The National Police Commission (Napolcom) is moving to its new office in Quezon City on May 26.
In an announcement yesterday, the Napolcom said its operations will be transferred from its old Makati office to the DILG-Napolcom Center along EDSA corner Quezon Avenue in West Triangle.
Napolcom vice chairman and executive officer Eduardo Escueta said the newly constructed 27-story building is situated near the MRT Quezon Avenue station.
Escueta said the Napolcom will be sharing the new building with the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
The Napolcom will exclusively occupy the 7th, 12th, 14th to 18th floors of the building. The DILG occupies the 10th, 11th, 19th, 21st to 26th floors.
Both the DILG and Napolcom will be sharing the 8th, 9th, 20th and 27th floors where the multi-purpose hall with lounge area, function and training rooms, medical and dental clinic, library, and information technology center are located.
The DILG-Napolcom Center has a cafeteria and an executive lounge. It also has a roof deck, a helipad and an eight-level parking area that can accommodate 250 vehicles.
