MANILA, Philippines - A 55-year-old X-ray technician based in Manila claimed the P18.8-million jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto’s April 28 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.
The winner, who claimed the prize Monday afternoon, bet P40 on random picks, PCSO acting chairman Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said.
He added that the winner, who is married and has four children, plans to renovate his house, invest in a business and save for his children’s future.
