Woman falls from mall’s second floor

MANILA, Philippines - A woman was injured after she fell from the second floor of a mall in Novaliches, Quezon City yesterday morning.

The woman, who identified herself as Michelle Guevarra, could not move her right arm and right leg after she fell from the second floor of I-Mall and landed on the pavement, said Superintendent Norberto Babagay.

Babagay said it was not clear whether the woman jumped or slipped. He said witnesses saw the woman dancing and singing as she climbed a footbridge adjacent to the mall and got to the mall’s second floor at past 5 a.m.

Rescuers from the city government brought the woman to the hospital.
