Ramil Bajo, Rey Galupo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Caloocan police has identified the man who was found stuffed in a drum along Tanigue street Sunday morning.

Regie Fajardo, 27, of Navotas City, was identified by his partner, Loveness Villanueva, according to Police Officer 3 Romel Bautista.

Fajardo’s body, clad in a white shirt and denim shorts, was found by a scavenger. His face was badly beaten and a fan belt, supposedly used to strangle him, was looped around his neck.

Fajardo served time at the Navotas City Jail for attempted murder and physical injury, police said.

A person who knew the victim said he last saw Fajardo at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday on his way to Bangkulasi, also in Navotas, to see his other partner, identified only as Regine.
