Evelyn Macairan - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Despite the repair work on EDSA during the Holy Week break, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said yesterday it will continue the concrete reblocking of Metro Manila’s busiest road this weekend.

The DPWH said the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority allowed the agency to continue the repair work from 10 p.m. last night until 5 a.m. on May 5.

The repair would be limited to EDSA’s sections between Connecticut and Libertad (southbound), Temple Drive and United Street (northbound) and Quezon Avenue and Landmark (third lane, northbound).

The DPWH also said there will be repairs along Kamuning Road between Scout Ybardolaza and Tomas Morato.
