Fetus found in QC church

MANILA, Philippines - A fetus was discovered near the restroom of a church in Quezon City before dawn yesterday.

Security guard Virgilio Apostol was doing his rounds at the Our Lady of Mercy Parish when he found a plastic bag containing the fetus at around 4:50 a.m., said Senior Police Officer 1 Rommel Tiangco of the Quezon City Police District Station 4.

Tiangco said the plastic bag may have been tossed over the wall of the church as the guard did not see anyone entering the premises prior to its discovery.
