Ramil Bajo, Rey Galupo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A teenage boy was reported to be in critical condition at the MCU Hospital yesterday after he was electrocuted when he went to the rooftop of a building in Malabon City on Friday.

Vincent Pascual, 17, a resident of Macopa street in Barangay Potrero, reportedly climbed to the roof of the Rotary Club building on Governor Pascual Avenue holding a metal hanger shortly before 4 p.m.

It was not clear why Pascual had gone there, but the hanger he was holding came in contact with a live cable. He suffered severe burns and was taken to the hospital.

Police Officer 3 Romirosa Mallari said they are still trying to figure out why the boy went to the building’s rooftop.
