Drunk cop nabbed for ‘grazing’ in store

Ramil Bajo, Rey Galupo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A policeman, reportedly drunk, was arrested for “grazing” at a 7-11 store in Malanday, Valenzuela Saturday and then drawing his gun at employees when they listed down what he ate.

Senior Police Officer 4 Harvey Guilao, a liaison officer of the Police Regional Office 10, entered the store at past 3 a.m. and allegedly ate a siopao, then started “tasting” chocolate bars, ice cream and other food products, according to a complaint filed by store cashiers Paul Aranzao and Philip Glen Duata.

As Duata noted what Guilao ate, the policeman allegedly drew his gun and told the cashier to wait until he finished eating.

The employees called police officers at the Dalandanan precinct, who arrested Guilao. The policeman was charged with grave threats and estafa before the Valenzuela prosecutor’s office yesterday morning.
