Bogus talent coordinator held for raping girl, 16
MANILA, Philippines - A fake talent coordinator of a men’s magazine has been arrested after promising a teenager with a modeling stint and allegedly raping her inside a motel two weeks ago.
Rudy Molina, 37, of Caloocan City, was nabbed in an entrapment operation in Novaliches, Quezon City based on the complaint of a 16-year-old high school student.
Police said Molina is facing charges of rape and grave threats in relation to the Anti-Child Abuse Law after threatening the victim he would release her videos on social media.
The girl met the suspect on Jan. 13 at the Nova Mall where Molina introduced himself as a talent coordinator for FHM magazine. The girl said he offered her a modeling stint.
Three days later, she received a call from the suspect, saying he was going to give her an initial payment of P65,000 if she would allow him to inspect her body.
The victim agreed and went with the suspect to the Nova Hotel in Barangay Sta. Monica, Novaliches where she was allegedly raped by the suspect.
After the incident, Molina again contacted the victim and threatened to release a sex video of her on Youtube, prompting her to seek police help.
