Shell eco-marathon Asia kicks off tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines - Traffic along Roxas Boulevard will be rerouted for the Shell eco-marathon Asia, which kicks off tomorrow in Rizal Park.

The event is a joint project of Shell, Department of Tourism and the city government of Manila.           

It is a competition where engineering students will outdo each other in developing vehicles of the future — cars that run on alternative sources of energy and excel in terms of fuel efficiency and smarter mobility.

The event will end on Feb. 12.

Motorists going to Pasay area from Bonifacio Drive should turn left to P. Burgos street, right to Ma. Orosa, right to T.M. Kalaw and left to reach Roxas Boulevard.
