MANILA, Philippines - The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has set up a Facebook page, “LTFRB Citizen Enforcer,” for commuters to report erring public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers and operators, an official said yesterday.

“Everyone is welcome to post complaints, pictures and videos of drivers and operators of taxis, utility vehicles, jeepneys, buses, trucks for hire, shuttle and tourist buses, and other PUVs through our Citizen Enforcer Facebook account,” LTFRB chairman Winston Ginez said.

Ginez noted that since the new LTFRB Facebook account was created a week ago, more than a hundred netizens have liked the page.

â€œWe will swiftly act on complaints posted on the page,” he said.

Ginez said commendations for good deeds of PUV drivers could be also be posted on the site to serve as a model for other drivers.
