MANILA, Philippines - The bodies of two men, believed to be victims of summary execution, were found separately in Quezon City yesterday morning.
A piece of cardboard found next to one of the bodies identified the victim as a burglar, Police Officer 2 Julius Balbuena said.
The body, which bore several puncture wounds, was found at around 5 a.m. in front of the University of the Philippines Veterinary Hospital.
Another body was found an hour later at a vacant lot in Barangay Pasong Tamo, Senior Police Officer 1 Joselito Gagaza said.
The victim was repeatedly shot and probers found six .45 caliber shells nearby.
