MANILA, Philippines - A Chinese man was arrested by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives after they confiscated P10 million worth of shabu from him in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City Saturday afternoon.

Weimou Shi, 40, was collared after he reportedly tried to sell the shabu to an undercover agent near a mall along NIA Road at around 4 p.m., PDEA chief information officer Derrick Arnold Carreon said.

Approximately two kilos of shabu was found in the suspect’s Hyundai Accent, bearing conduction sticker MK0019.

Carreon said appropriate criminal charges will be filed against the suspect for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
