MANILA, Philippines - A man on a bicycle died yesterday, a day after he was hit by a speeding motorcycle in Quezon City.
The victim remained unidentified after he died at the Quezon City General Hospital at around 5 a.m. yesterday, Senior Police Officer 4 Raymundo Layug said.
He said the victim was believed to be in his 60s, 5’5†tall, fair-skinned, of medium build, and clad in a white T-shirt and short pants.
The victim was brought to the hospital after being hit by a motorcycle, driven by Joey Reyes, 29, along Araneta Avenue near the corner of Calamba Street in Barangay Talayan at around 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Reyes, who is in police custody, claimed he avoided a vehicle but lost control and hit the victim.
Layug said Reyes faces charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
