The vendors were charged in court for violating a city ordinance prohibiting the selling of merchandise without permits and for obstructing the Litex overpass along Commonwealth Avenue, said Police Officer 2 Julius Balbuena.

Senior Police Officer 4 Edward Torio, was officer-in-charge of the Quezon City Police District’s Task Force Commonwealth, was ambushed by motorcycle riding gunmen along Commonwealth Avenue on Dec. 5.
