3 Pakistanis fall in drug bust

MANILA, Philippines - Three Pakistani men were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City Sunday night.

Police identified the suspects as Kashi Malik, 25, Omar Nasir, 23, and Joni Malik, 21.

The suspects were nabbed in front of Malik’s house in Barangay North Susana Executive Village at around 9 p.m., said Senior Inspector Roberto Razon, head of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) anti-drugs unit.

Police seized from the suspects boxes of Valium, a psychoactive drug, worth P8,000.

QCPD director Chief Superintendent Richard Albano said policemen also recovered a gray Toyota Corolla with license plate UDT-201 and the P2,000 bills used as buy-bust money.
