MANILA, Philippines - The body of a man believed to be a victim of summary execution was found in Quezon City Thursday night.
Investigators said the body was riddled with stab wounds. A nail was driven into the victim’s skull, a piece of cloth had been stuffed into his mouth and his neck bore ligature marks, they said.
Residents found the body at the corner of A. Bonifacio Avenue and Ipo street in Barangay N.S. Amoranto at around 11 p.m.
Investigators said the victim was approximately in his late 20s, bore a tattoo on his left arm and clad in denim pants.
