Suspect tagged in BFP exec’s mugging

MANILA, Philippines - A man tagged in at least 10 robberies in Metro Manila was identified as among four men who robbed a Bureau of Fire Protection general, the second top official in the BFP, in Quezon City last Tuesday.

BFP deputy chief for administration Chief Superintendent Samuel Perez and his companions, Senior Fire Officers 2 Joel Zerrudo and Santiago Garong III, identified Jonathan Cuya as the one who led three other men who barged into a house in Project 6 at around 9 a.m. Tuesday and robbed them of a necklace worth P60,000; a wristwatch worth P10,000; another watch worth P7,000; five cellular phones; two tablets and a bull ring.
