MANILA, Philippines - Two men accused of killing a teenager last Sunday were arrested in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City yesterday.
Frank Gerald Castro, 19; and Michael Aurelia, 24, were arrested in follow-up operations, Pasig police chief Senior Superintendent Mario Rariza said.
A .45 caliber automatic pistol, a .38 caliber revolver, a fragmentation grenade and a suppressor were confiscated from the two men, he added.
Witnesses identified Castro and Aurelia as the ones who reportedly shot out-of-school youth Ian Oliva, 17, while the victim was watching the Pacquiao-Rios bout on television at a bakery last Nov. 24, according to Chief Inspector Glenn Magsino, head of the city police’s criminal investigation section.
Castro also admitted to killing a certain Kevin Pabelona last Nov. 1, Rariza said.
