3 EDSA rob suspects arrested

MANILA, Philippines - Three alleged members of a robbery group operating along EDSA were arrested in a series of raids in Caloocan City and Quezon City Monday afternoon.

Michael Basilio, 27; Reygie Radam, 20; and Arnel Adaro, 18, were identified as among those who reportedly flagged down a bus in Project 7, Quezon City and robbed its passengers, said Chief Inspector Ronald Perilla, who heads the Caloocan police’s district special operations unit.

Perilla said the suspects were turned over to the Quezon City Police District.

He added that Caloocan police officers are still checking if the suspects were also among the six men who robbed the passengers of a northbound bus plying the Malanday-Baclaran in Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City last Nov. 13.
