Suspect in Taguig blast nabbed

MANILA, Philippines - A man suspected of throwing a grenade in Barangay North Signal, Taguig City on Wednesday has been arrested.

Janitor Lester Daga, 31, was apprehended Thursday after he was identified by a witness as one of two men seen fleeing the scene shortly after a grenade exploded in front of a house along 10th Avenue, wounding five persons, including a 10-year-old boy.

Investigators said a brawl that occurred on Wednesday morning may have been the reason for the attack.
