MANILA, Philippines - The Caloocan City police arrested three fugitives and seized 40 motorcycles and four firearms in an anti-crime drive Wednesday, an official said Thursday.
City police chief Senior Superintendent Bernard Tambaoan and Barugo police station commander Superintendent Ferdinand del Rosario led a team in checking three abandoned shanties in Barangay 188, where they found two .38 caliber revolvers, a .22 caliber pistol and a 12-gauge shotgun.
Del Rosario said they also arrested fugitives Jerry Vinuya, wanted for murder; Ellan del Rosario, homicide; and Roberto Montia, accused of violating a law penalizing violence against women and children.
The team also seized more than 40 motorcycles, most of which were stolen, and are trying to find their owners, Del Rosario said.
