Businessman found dead in Pasig hotel

Non Alquitran - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A Filipino-Chinese businessman was found dead in a hotel room in Pasig City Sunday.

Yee Ching Chua, 57, checked in at a hotel in Barangay San Antonio on Sept. 29 to attend to some business maters, according to Chief Inspector Glenn Magsino, head of the city police’s criminal investigation section.

When Yee failed to check out on Sunday and did not respond to repeated knocks on his hotel room door, hotel officials used a master key. They found Yee, clad in boxer shorts, lying on the floor.

Barangay rescue personnel declared Yee already dead. The businessman’s body bore no signs of foul play, Magsino said.
