P1.2 M stolen in QC robberies

MANILA, Philippines - More than P1.2 million in cash and valuables were stolen in two separate robberies in Quezon City on Monday.

Jewelry and gadgets worth P.6 million and P118,000 in cash were stolen by unidentified persons who tunneled into the M. Ablaza Aldana Pawnshop in Barangay Old Balara over the weekend, said Senior Police Officer 3 Leila Agati.

In Barangay St. Peter, the Alen Group of Companies reported that robbers broke into the president’s office at the Alencor Building and took more than P500,000 in jewelry and gadgets, as well as P20,000 cash, police said.
