2 Ampatuans ordered arraigned

MANILA, Philippines - A Quezon City court handling the 2009 Maguindanao massacre trial has ordered the arraignment of two grandsons of former Maguindanao governor Andal Ampatuan Sr. for the 58 counts of murder filed against them.

In a two page-order released to the media yesterday, Judge Jocelyn Solis-Reyes dismissed the motion for reconsideration filed by Anwar “Ipi” Ampatuan Jr. and Anwar Sajid “Ulo” Ampatuan.

The court set their arraignment on Oct. 2.
