Sex worker’s alleged killer falls

Aie Balagtas See - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - An alleged killer targeting sex workers was arrested Tuesday night at a bus terminal in Manila for the death of a “pickup girl” inside a motel, police said yesterday.

Joseph Labrador, alias Michael, of Pangasinan, was accused of killing a 28-year-old woman in Carport Inn last Sunday.

Senior Inspector Steve Casimiro, chief of the Manila Police District homicide section, said Labrador was nabbed at around 11 p.m. at a bus terminal in Sta. Cruz by members of MPD Station 3.

The suspect denied killing the victim, saying he had just arrived from the province.

However, the motel’s roomboy, Michael Fabillar, insisted that Labrador checked in at the motel with the victim.
