Woman stabbed for spreading rumors

MANILA, Philippines - A woman was attacked in Caloocan City Sunday night for allegedly spreading gossip.

Ritchell Urdas, 28, remains confined at the Jose Rodriguez Memorial Hospital after she was reportedly stabbed by Juvy Soriano.

Soriano went to Urdas’ house at past 9 p.m. and confronted the victim for reportedly spreading rumors that she was having an extramarital affair, police said.

In the middle of the argument, Soriano reportedly stabbed Urdas in the armpit and fled.
