Jail officer hits bus conductor

MANILA, Philippines - A jail officer was arrested for allegedly punching a bus conductor in Caloocan City Friday afternoon.

Jail Officer 1 Ganer Jauini, 27, got irked and punched Inocencio Satajo in a bus traversing EDSA when the latter asked for his fare, said Superintendent Ferdinand del Rosario of the Caloocan City police.

Jauini, detailed at the National Capital Regional Office of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, will be slapped with charges of physical injury.
