MANILA, Philippines - Five men robbed a restaurant and its customers of P63,000 in Quezon City Saturday night.
Three men, carrying handguns, barged into the Red Ribbon restaurant and bakeshop along Commonwealth Avenue in Barangay Old Balara at past 9 p.m., said Superintendent Eleazar Matta, commander of the Quezon City Police District Station 6.
He said two other men stayed in an MVBS taxi with plate number TYL-501.
Matta said the shop had a surveillance camera but failed to get a good footage of the robbers as they wore caps. He said the robbers sped toward Fairview after taking the money and gadgets from their victims.
