MANILA, Philippines - Depression allegedly drove a call center agent to commit suicide by slashing his wrist before hanging himself in Pasig City Tuesday.
Mario Robillos, 30, was found lifeless by his live-in partner, Marcelle Martinez, at around 6 p.m. inside their home in Barangay Sta. Lucia, police said.
Martinez told police prober PO3 Rolando Anselmo that Robillos had been suffering from depression.
She said she left Robillos to visit her mother in Antipolo City.
When she returned, Martinez said she was shocked to see her partner hanging. A hose was tied around his neck, she told police. Robillos also had a slash wound in his wrist.
Police found a suicide note, a fan knife and bottles of beer in the house.
