3 nabbed in drug bust

MANILA, Philippines - Three persons, including a teenager, were arrested during a drug bust in Quezon City Wednesday afternoon.

Police officers also seized 30 grams of shabu, which has a street value of P180,000, from Antonio Deno, 53; Gina Rodelas, 49; and Jenica Bamba, 19. All the three suspects hail from Bulacan.

Deno also yielded a hand grenade, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Senior Superintendent Richard Albano said.

Senior Inspector Roberto Razon, head of the QCPD’s anti-drug unit, said the three suspects were arrested at past 4 p.m. at a gasoline station along North Avenue near its intersection with Mindanao Avenue.
