Robbers slit Chinese businessman’s throat

MANILA, Philippines - A Chinese businessman was hospitalized yesterday after robbers barged into his house in Grace Park, Caloocan City and slit his throat.

Go Hui Ho, 61, is confined at the Chinese General Hospital, according to Senior Inspector Gaylord Tamayo.

The victim’s sister, Melody Ho, told police her brother opened the door of their house when the doorbell rang a few minutes before 9 a.m.

She said she was in another part of the house at the time and when she went downstairs, she found her brother sprawled on the floor, bleeding from a slash in his throat.  Tamayo said the victim’s wallet, which contained a large amount of money, was missing.
