MANILA, Philippines - A prison guard was arrested over the weekend for allegedly firing his gun and threatening customers at a seaside restaurant in Pasay City.
Benjamin Laureola, of the Bureau of Corrections, was apprehended after he allegedly fired his pistol to scare a group of men who were drinking at the restaurant at around 2 a.m. Saturday, city police chief Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Llorca said.
Police officers recovered a .45 caliber pistol with five bullets from Laureola, he said.
