Non Alquitran - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Caloocan City policeman involved in the failed attempt to kill his brother-in-law in Rodriguez, Rizal last week is now undergoing summary dismissal proceedings, a police official said yesterday.

National Capital Region Police Office chief Director Leonardo Espina ordered Senior Superintendent Mitch Filart, head of the NCRPO’s regional investigation and detective management division, to expedite the dismissal proceedings against SPO1 Melgan Lorenzo, who went into hiding after the failed slay try on his 21-year-old brother-in-law, John Roy Suzon.

According to Suzon, Lorenzo and four others snatched him in Manila last Thursday. He was blindfolded, hogtied and shot several times before he was dumped at a vacant lot in Rodriguez.
