FX taxi passengers robbed in Pasig

MANILA, Philippines - Two men armed with handguns robbed the passengers – all call center agents – of an FX taxi in Pasig City before dawn Wednesday.

The robbers boarded the Cainta-Ayala FX taxi along Ortigas Extension and pulled out their guns when the vehicle reached a dimly lit portion of C-5 Road. One robber sat in the back while the other sat in the middle section of the vehicle.

Eric Kevin Simbigon, 26, lost his rubber shoes, clothes, P4,800 and two cell phones; Ma. Joanna Isabela Suangco, 21, lost her bag containing her various identification and ATM cards and two cell phones; Norleen Baliwas lost her bag, wallet and cell phone; and Bernardo Ruiz lost his clothes, cell phone, rubber shoes and wallet, which contained P2,000 and his driver’s license.
