MANILA, Philippines - Good weather will continue to prevail in many parts of the country today, the last day of campaigning, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said yesterday.
PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.
PAGASA said no weather disturbance is expected to affect the country on Monday. However, it advised the public to brace for warm and humid weather and probability of thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.
PAGASA recorded the maximum temperature in Metro Manila at 35.3 degrees Celsius at 1:50 p.m. yesterday.
The weather agency warned the public earlier of hotter days ahead as the easterlies – warm air from the Pacific Ocean – peaks this month.
The agency also said the coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
