Nigerian caught with 3 kilos of shabu at NAIA

MANILA, Philippine s- A Nigerian was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 Friday afternoon after customs officers found three kilos of shabu hidden under a false bottom in his luggage.

Michael Owoborode, 40, reportedly seemed nervous when he presented his customs declaration form and his luggage, NAIA customs duty collector Mary Ignacio told The STAR.

Owoborode’s passport showed he left Lagos and traveled to India and Bangkok, Thailand before proceeding to Manila.
