P10-M shabu seized from 3 foreigners

MANILA, Philippines - Three foreigners were arrested in Las Piñas City yesterday for allegedly conspiring to smuggle P10 million worth of shabu into the country.

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) identified the suspects as African Caroline Obojiofor, 51; and Nigerians Quinto Tamba Nhague and Paul Omina.

Obojiofor was arrested after she arrived in the country on Wednesday and checked in at a hotel in Manila. NBI agents found 2.2 kilos of shabu was found in her luggage.

The two Nigerians were caught in an entrapment operation when they tried to contact Obojiofor, the NBI said.
