MMDA: Avoid Roxas Blvd tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines - The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) yesterday advised motorists to avoid the Roxas Boulevard and nearby streets tomorrow afternoon since they will be closed to traffic for the Aliwan Fiesta.

The Aliwan Fiesta is an annual event that will be held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines complex in Pasay City.

 In an advisory posted on its Twitter account, the MMDA identified the roads to be closed starting at 1 p.m. tomorrow as: Roxas Boulevard (southbound lane) from P. Burgos to Pablo Ocampo Sr. streets and the intersection of President Quirino Avenue and Adriatico, President Quirino and M.H. del Pilar street and Pablo Ocampo Sr. and Mabini streets.
