Perseus Echeminada - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A 38-year-old Korean man was found dead in a water tank of a high-rise residential building in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City Friday night, an official said yesterday.

The body of Kim Ji Hun was found by maintenance personnel, led by Rogelio Mercado, and identified by the victim’s partner, Normilita Taguin, according to Southern Police District director Chief Superintendent Jose Erwin Villacorte.

He said the Parañaque police is investigating if Kim was killed or had committed suicide. “We are still investigating how the victim got into the water depository tank,” city police chief Senior Superintendent Andrei Felix said.

Felix said the victim was reported missing on Thursday, and his room “was in disarray when police investigators arrived.”
