Noy OKs new national road in Valenzuela

MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino has approved the conversion of a major access road in Valenzuela City into a national road.

Pasolo to Rincon Road – which cuts through three barangays – will now be maintained by the Department of Public Works Highways (DPWH), as provided under Republic Act 10408, which Aquino signed on March 19.

Pasolo to Rincon Road also connects two national roads, Gov. I Santiago street and G. Lazaro Road, and would be part of an alternate route to decongest traffic along McArthur Highway, according to DPWH-National Capital Region engineer Allan Pajimna.
