Ambulance collides with car in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines - An ambulance transporting a patient to the National Orthopedic Hospital in Quezon City collided with a car on Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City yesterday.

Metro Manila Development Authority Chairman Francis Tolentino told The STAR members of the MMDA rescue team responded to the accident, which occurred at around 6 a.m.

Initial investigation showed that Boy Hernandez, driver of the ambulance, ran a red light at the intersection and hit a Honda car (WPV-583) on the opposite lane.
