Tire shop owner foils 4 alleged burglars

MANILA, Philippines - Four men were arrested after breaking into a tire shop in Novaliches, Quezon City yesterday.

Caroline Cabales noticed the monitor of her shop’s closed-circuit television camera had gone blank after suspects covered the camera, said Quezon City Police District Station 4 commander Superintendent Crisostomo Mendoza.

Cabales called the police, who arrested suspects as Ramil Atencio, 37; Danilo Lazamana, 63; Roberto Tolentino, 49; and Emmanuel Reyes, 41.

Police officers recovered a bolt cutter and other tools from the suspects.
