MANILA, Philippines - A fire struck the Manila Film Center at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City Tuesday night.
The Bureau of Fire Protection said the blaze broke out at 7:58 p.m. in the building’s second floor.
The fire reached the fifth alarm before it was declared under control three hours later.
Authorities said the fire started at the office of “Amazing Show†president Casimero Villarosa.
Arlyn Cuenco, the center’s marketing assistant, said they were preparing for the show when the fire broke out.
Damage to property was estimated at P200,000. No one was reported injured in the fire.
