Bloodstained car found in condo parking space

Reinir Padua - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A car with bloodstains was found at the parking space of a condominium at the corner of Edsa and Quezon Avenue.

The abandoned Suzuki Celerio, still “for registration,” is reportedly owned by Gerald Reyes, 27, of West Fairview.

Police officers checked the car yesterday afternoon after security personnel notified them that it had been parked there for three days.

A relative of Reyes said he had been missing for eight days. He reportedly left for work on the morning of Feb. 11.

Reyes reportedly owns a car wash shop in West Fairview. Police also recovered a broken necklace, Reyes’ driver’s license, a bloodstained gray shirt that reportedly did not belong to Reyes.

Police said it was on the afternoon of Feb. 16 that the car was spotted by the CCTV monitor entering the condominium compound.
